"Warhammer 40k: Chapter Approved – 2017 Edition" was the very first annual rules supplement released after the launch of the eighth edition of Warhammer 40,000. This publication was vital for balancing the new edition. The book introduced updated point values for many Imperium and Chaos units, additional rules for the game (e.g., the Apocalypse game mode), new missions, and expanded the possibilities for Narrative Play. It was a crucial step towards broader rules updates in the coming years.
