"Deathwatch: Overkill" is not a traditional codex or novel, but a boxed board game expansion book / rulebook that functions as a background guide. This publication details the encounter between the Deathwatch Space Marine kill team and the Genestealer Cults at an Inquisition research base. The book provides a detailed history of this conflict, character descriptions (both Deathwatch heroes and cult members), and additional rules for miniature gaming, including special scenarios.
